Mylar® Films showcasing at Fruit Logistica 2017

DuPont Teijin Films are showcasing some of the Mylar® Polyester Films range of packaging films at the forthcoming Fruit Logistica exhibition being held in Berlin from 8-10th February 2017.

The Mylar® range of peelable lidding films sets the industry standard for top seal solutions used to package fresh whole fruit such as berries, fresh cut fruit and prepared salads.

Mylar® top seal lidding films offers the combination of consumer convenience with clean easy peels and the peace of mind of reliable seals achieved across the widest range of punnets and packing lines.  Strong hermetic sealing is achieved even in the most challenging conditions of cut fruit packaging where contamination from the product can cripple the seals of other lidding films.  Mylar® top seal lidding films have an exceptionally wide sealing window providing secure seals at temperatures as low as 120°C, enabling cost savings through the use of thinner trays and punnets.

Eye catching shelf appeal comes with class leading clarity, anti-fog performance and the industry standard ink adhesion coating for surface printing.

Clip on lids, paper labels and reverse printed laminates can all be replaced with Mylar® top seal lidding film to deliver a lower cost, lighter weight pack with enhanced shelf life and shelf appeal.
